Ms. Rameau continues to fight for the admissibility of expert testimony about the coercive nature of police interrogation techniques—interrogation techniques which can lead to confessions that are false, like the false confessions police obtained from the innocent boys convicted in the Central Park Jogger Case.

Miss Rameau succeeded in vacating a guilty plea and sentence of 10 years, and then obtained an acquittal for a client who had confessed falsely to Rape and Robbery in the First Degree.

Miss Rameau is a fierce advocate and a voracious reader committed to staying abreast of the recent changes in our criminal jurisprudence so that her clients will reap all available benefits.

Miss Rameau is a benevolent and philanthropic member of our worldwide community who currently sponsors a number of children throughout the world.

She is Fluent in French, Creole and has working and ever increasing knowledge of the Spanish language.
